Important Announcements - Wrestling

We have some important announcements to make you aware of before we head into the Holiday Break.

  • + # Wrestling Dinner Fundraiser will be January 6th at the Brighton Elks starting at 5pm.+
  • Each Wrestler will need to sell a minimum of 5 tickets.
    Ticket and flyers will be handed out this week.
    Parents are asked to bring a dessert or condiments – all other food has been donated and will be prepared – We will
    be setting up a sign-up genius for this.,
    1. **Wrestling Families we are asking for donations for the silent auction that will be held during the fundraiser dinner. Please drop items off with Coach Wagner.
    1. ***+State Championship Ticket orders*. + We will be sending out order forms soon to pre-order state tickets which will allow us to reserve seating and sit together to support our team, advance tickets are also significantly reduced from what you will pay at the door. We will need orders with payment turned in by January 3rd, so watch for this.

    Wrestling Spirit Gear Orders

    Order forms for Wrestling Spirit Gear were handed out in last night’s Wrestling Meeting.

    Additional order forms will be available in the Wrestling room if you did not receive one at the meeting.

    Please note that all orders are due next* Friday, 12/15/17*.

    Wrestling Parent/Wrestler Meeting - Thursday - 12/7/17

    There will be a Wrestling Meeting for all Wrestlers and Parents this Thursday 12/7/17 after practice at BHS, to cover the 2017/2018 season. Please plan on attending.

    Water and Gatorade Donations Needed

    Hello Wrestling Families,

    We are in need of water and Gatorade donations for this season. Please drop off donations during practice times or have wrestlers bring to practice. If everyone donates a case of water or Gatorade the team would be set for the season.

    Look for future announcements for how we will be handling the food for the wrestlers this season for duels and tournaments.

    • Note that we are making a change for tournaments. Wrestlers will need to bring breakfast items for post weigh-in on tournament days and Booster will ensure sack lunches are provided for tournaments and duels through parent donations.

    Winter Sports Registration Deadline

    Hey wrestling families, the Brighton Athletics Winter sports registration deadline is November 6th.

    Please make sure all of your registration paperwork and physical have been turned in. You must also have a zero balance on your school fee account.
